Trophoblastic Diseases
ESGO supports The European Organisation for Treatment of Trophoblastic Diseases(EOTTD) which has become a special task force under the ESGO umbrella focused on topics related to trophoblastic diseases.
Mission Statement
The European Organisation for Treatment of Trophoblastic Diseases is dedicated to optimize diagnosis, treatment, follow-up and research in Gestational Trophoblastic Disease (GTD) by bringing together knowledge of clinicians and researchers working in the field of GTD in Europe.
Objectives
The task force’s primary objective is to bring together all European players in the field of GTD. In order to optimize diagnosis, treatment, follow-up and research in GTD four working parties have been established on:
- Pathology
- Genetics
- Guidelines and Clinical management
- hCG assay’s
These working parties set their own goals and report on their proceedings on every annual EOTTD meeting.
