in Cervical Cancer
Management

The ESGO accreditation in Cervical cancer management is an award attributed to institutions (both within and outside of Europe), who can offer patients the specific skills, experience, organization, and dedication that are required to achieve optimal levels of care.

The ESGO accreditation is based on the completion of ESGO Quality indicators and a scoring system that has been designed and internally validated by an International Expert Panel.

Why should your centre be accredited?

Centres receiving ESGO accreditation will be entitled to:

  • Use the subtitle “ESGO accredited center in cervical cancer management”
  • Use the ESGO logo in its cervical cancer related communication
  • Be listed on the ESGO Guidelines website for patients’ and physicians’ reference
Application Process

Interested in applying for ESGO accreditation in cervical cancer management?

Centres interested in becoming accredited are required to:

  • Complete and meet the ESGO quality indicators.
  • Centres interested in being accredited are required to fill in the self-assessment form. The sum of the individual scores being 109, it was decided that an institution that meets at least 80% of the score (score ≥88) provides satisfactory surgical and radiotherapeutical management of patients with cervical cancer. However, this sum is not the only criterion to take into account.
  • Centres interested in becoming accredited must accept that ESGO may perform random audits of applicants by asking for operative/procedural radiotherapy reports and pathology reports from select cases in their database.

Only centres that meet the above requirements can start the application process for ESGO accreditation by initiating the digital application via REDCap.

Please view the following documents to prepare your application.
