3rd International Women & their Microbes Conference

This year’s annual meeting will zoom in on 8 unique female microbiomes, the first-time such combinatorial scientific viewpoint will be presented on a scientific platform. The lectures will explore health aspects and influences on female-specific microbiomes including the oral cavity, skin, breast, gut, bladder, vagina, estrobiome, and the ellusive male factor, the penile microbiome. Specific emphasis will be given to how external factors (such as toothpaste, crèmes, antibiotics, tampons, stress, and sexual intercourse) affect and influence the stability of these niches. Participants can expect to walk away at minimum with an excellent overview of the varied role of microbes in women’s health and what practical strategies are available to enhance health and reduce disease risk. This showcase of research from international experts is essential to help improve clinical care, enhance microbial management strategies for women and achieve “A healthy woman, a healthy baby, a healthy generation”.
