Medical writing and publishing has become an important part of everybody´s professional development. Not only researchers but every gynaecological oncologist should be familiar with the field of scientific papers and how to present findings.
The aim of this 2-days workshop is to enhance the attendants´ ability to write scientific papers, improve knowledge of what journal can best suits, why papers are rejected and explore publications from the perspective of editors and reviewers.
Special attention will be focused on statistical basic facts. Equally the workshop will cover aspects pertaining to presenting at meetings, how to prepare a good poster and make a successful oral presentation.
After completion of the course participants will better understand publishing process and different types of publications. They will also know how to write scientific paper, prepare lecture, abstract and poster.
Workshop will be as interactive as possible, participants will work in small working groups lead by mentors. Work in groups will be combined with formal lectures.
Workshop attendance is limited to 25 participants.
Only applicants who are active ESGO/ENGYO members and who have paid the course fee will be considered for participation.
Paid ESGO/ENYGO membership for 2016 is a mandatory condition for being considered.

Please note that a motivation statement and a short CV are mandatory parts of the application.

Confirmations will be made on a first-come-first-served basis.
Important note:
Participants should bring with them examples of papers they wrote and any presentations/posters in pdf format – or if not possible to develop a presentation and bring it along.

Participants are expected to cover their own travel costs.
Please, note, that a visa is required to travel Belarus!
ENYGO secretariat will provide all information needed for the visa application process, incl. the Visa application form and Invitation letter requested.
Payment details and cancellation conditions:
The course fee must be paid immediately upon confirmation of attendance. The payment can be processed only by bank transfer; bank details will be available in the confirmation letter.
If the fee is not received by February 29, 2016, the position will be offered to the next suitable applicant.
The reservation can only be confirmed upon receipt of payment. In case of cancellation, the fee will be refunded, provided a written request is received by March 7, 2015.
No refund can be made if the notice of cancellation is received after this date or in case of no-show.
