An Exclusive 3-Day Course at the Policlinico A. Gemelli Foundation, Rome organized by ENYGO. Attendance to the course is limited to 20 participants.

The participants have the opportunity to obtain the The Gynaecological Endoscopic Surgical Education and Assessment (GESEA) diploma for Gynaecological Endoscopy. This certifies knowledge and practical skills prior to surgical competence and is the official diploma program of the European Society for Gynaecological Endoscopy (ESGE).

 

Target Audience

  • 4th and 5th year residents in obstetrics and gynecology with special interest in gynecologic oncology
  • Gynecologic oncology fellows
  • Fluent in English

 

Learning Objectives 

  • Improve knowledge and skills in basic laparoscopy applied to gynaecological cancers
  • Practice development of basic hand-eye coordination skills on pelvic trainers
  • Improvement of Depth Perception in 2D laparoscopy
  • Acquire basic skills to perform diagnostic and operative hysteroscopy
  • Understand how to avoid complications during ports placement

Each medical specialist should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent in the educational activity
