ESGO 2024 Congress March 7-10, 2024| Barcelona, Spain
Over the past few years, the European Society of Gynaecological Oncology (ESGO) has grown in membership, congress attendance, number of educational and scientific projects, and overall international influence.
In 2024, 7 current ESGO Council members will finish their terms, and these 7 (seven) positions on the ESGO Council 2024–2028 will be open for election.
At the last General Assembly of members, voting rights were extended to non-European members, health care professionals actively practicing in the field of gynae oncology or related specialties. Also, for first time, ESGO is opening an elected non-European seat on the ESGO Council. Also, with the aim of increasing multidisciplinarity at the Council level, one seat shall be open for a radiation oncologist.
The new council members will begin their terms following the March 2024 ESGO Congress in Barcelona.
For the period 2024–2028, seven (7) elected Council Member positions are open and the selected candidates are grouped into 7 groups as follows:
Group 1: Western Europe Group 2: Central and North Europe Group 3: South-Western Europe Group 4: South-Eastern Europe Group 5: East Europe Group 6: Rest of the World Group 7: Radiation Oncology
Presentation of all candidates with their motivation statement and CV is available HERE
All ESGO members in good standing with voting rights were provided their unique access to the voting platform via a personalised voting email.

All ESGO regular members who hold active membership in 2023 are given the opportunity to stand as a candidate through self-nomination.
Please note: At the last General Assembly of members, voting rights were granted to all non-European ESGO members (health care professionals). For first time we are also opening an elected non-European seat in the ESGO Council. The members residing and practising outside Europe are eligible to vote and can send an application. Also, in order to increase multidisciplinarity at the ESGO Council level, one seat will be open for a radiation oncologist.
