ESGO Consortium

The third closed ESGO Consortium meeting was held on February 20, 2025, at the ESGO Congress in Rome. Nine winning research studies on advanced and recurrent ovarian cancer were announced, selected from proposals submitted by Consortium members. The chosen centers will now lead their projects in collaboration with ESGO to advance ovarian cancer research.

The ESGO-EURACAN-GCIG Guidelines on the management of patients with uterine sarcomas became the IJGC most downloaded article in 2024, with an impressive 16,920 downloads within just five months of its publication on September 25, 2024. The guidelines were developed under the leadership of three chairs: Isabelle Ray-Coquard (ESGO), Paolo Casali (EURACAN), and Michael Friedlander (GCIG), who played key roles in shaping this crucial resource for the management of uterine sarcomas.
